In October 2006, Mercury established a Nutrigenomics Center of Excellence, dedicated to delivering best practice solutions, collateral, useful links and educating clients interested in leveraging the science of Nutrigenomics.
The Center’s primary role is to educate clients and employees on concepts such as:
- Nutrigenomics.
- Bio-informatics.
- Genomics.
- Proteomics.
- Metabolomics.
- Phenome-Genome Interactions.
- Data Quality and its importance in a Nutrigenomics initiative.
- Effective use of Data Mining to help research and development organizations
The Center serves as a starting point for clients and employees looking for information about Nutrigenomics, its various applications, research publications and current industry trends. The Center's facilities, staffing and technical environment will serve as a viable option for our client's end-user and information systems group training, off-site/outsourced development.
