TThe following is a case study of the Data Warehouse implementation at a leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Company that is a leader in the breakfast category.

Business Need

The Company had multiple Point of Sale (POS) data capture environments that provided only 45 days of detail transactional history for reporting and analytic purposes. Additional data was available at aggregated levels that were not really helpful.

There was no ability to correlate between transactional detail and Franchisee reporting and to validate if the numbers are correct to articulate Loss Prevention.
